Caitlin and Ciara have been close friends since birth and planned their wedding days together since childhood. We are excited to have her share in our special day!

Brent Strandy, Best Man

Whether it was watching every episode of the X-Files or pulling an all nighter in the Computer Science lab, Brent has stood by Matt through thick and thin (despite his life goal of being the uber Xbox 360 fanboy). Matt's senior year of college was joyously filled with a daily waking in the presence of Brent's half naked-body. From college to many expected trips between Portland and Seattle, Matt and Ciara are excited to have Brent and Amy participating in the wedding.

NOTE: Matt and Ciara's wedding is a completely Xbox 360-free wedding.

Nick Lacy

Nick and Matt have been friends in "The Posse" since high school. They hung out at Aloha High until Nick got trendy and defected to South Ridge. Matt's time with Nick can be characterized by extreme facial pain and soreness due to overwhelming laughter. Despite's Nick move to the So Cal area, where things actually DO happen, Nick and Matt have remained close friends. Between playing worship, shooting promotional videos, and loading up at Izzy's, Nick and Matt have a lot of memories to share!

Nick Roseta

Nick Roseta describes Matt as "his last friend in Oregon". Another member of "The Posse", Nick inspired Matt for many years to excel as a drummer. Nick likes his women hot and his cars hotter, and why wouldn't he? He's currently in the studio recording with his band. Matt and Nick have remained close through Nick's regular trips back up to Oregon from LA, and through Matt's sincere yet empty promises to take a vacation down south. Matt is very thankful for his strong bond of friendship with Nick.

Todd Bowder

Todd rounds out "The Posse" and brings it to a close. Todd is one of Matt's oldest friends, sharing a wide variety of experiences. Those times include living together in a 2-bedroom apartment with two other roommates. It was nasty, but hey, rent was cheap! Todd has been living out in the midwest the last couple years, going to school and breaking hearts. Matt's glad that Todd made it through is recent time abroad in Africa, so that he can attend the raging party of Matt and Ciara's wedding.

Jon Small

Jon and Matt have been pumping out the rock in PRB for a number of years now. Jon is called The Tank because...well...look at him! In the short time that Matt and Jon have known each other they have developed a strong friendship (Jon's home-brewed beer didn't hurt things). Jon's laid back nature and his love of butter make him the perfect choice for a groomsman...and he can step in as bouncer when needed.

Josh Bohl

Josh and Matt were practically linked at the hip during college, living together all four years. They even ended up working about 2 blocks from each other after graduation. And to think they never met until freshman year at George Fox! The amount of hours playing Starcraft, Medal of Honor, and Diablo 2 probably contributed to the stress of deadlines at school.

Dave Ketah

Dave has known Matt and Ciara since their middle school and high school days at Beaverton Christian Church. He has spoken to and guided the couple throughout many different life stages. In the last few years the three of them have been working closely together in their various ministries at Ethnos Church. Matt and Ciara are blessed to have friends like the Ketahs, and in them, a Biblical model of marriage and family. They are so excited to have the Ketah's support and blessings as they embark on this sacred journey.

Kessler is Ciara's oldest friend. The two have known each other since sixth grade and remained close through many relationships and life changes. Kessler has been like a brother for many years and he is excited to have such a special role in the wedding day.
